Vacancy: Education Promotion Officer（Media Specialist）for Education in Ireland
Job Title: Education Promotion Officer（Media Specialist）
Location: Beijing
· Education in Ireland intends to hire a full-time consultant focusing on online marketing,
· This consultant is part of cohort of “Generation Z（born after 1995）” who is aware of the new media trend, has deep understanding of internet reading habits and consumer behaviour of the new generation (target prospective students); Is able to design and carry out new media strategy.
· Study abroad experience is preferred;
· Excellent Communication skills is required in order to influence Irish Higher Education Institutions to adopt New Media strategy in this market;
· The person need to follow Enterprise Ireland office policies, report to both Education SMA and Irish Universities and Colleges that involved in the media project.
· 3-year long initiative, starting from 1 Mar 2026. Decision on extension is based on result of evaluation by EI and HEIs involved.
Role and Responsibilities :
· Analyse and improve the online presence of Education in Ireland and the individual Irish Universities/Colleges in China by further rolling out the new media strategy by working one to one with the Institutions both Ireland based staff and China based reps.
· Provide feedback and constructive suggestions of online platforms and online marketing events to EI and to HEIs; result oriented and measurable targets to be set.
· Support to convert individual student’ interest to actual application through strengthened online marketing initiatives.
· Responsible for market entry of the new sector-English Language Schools from Ireland, influence the young adults to choose Ireland as english language study destination.
· Execute specific tasks given by the Irish education clients on cost-recovery basis;
· Support digitalization process of other sectors in Enterprise Ireland
